Code of Conduct

The organisers of HWRS 2020 are committed to providing a harassment-free Symposium experience for all HWRS 2020 participants regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, or religion.

We do not tolerate harassment of speakers, Symposium participants, or staff in any form during Symposium sessions, amongst the exhibition or at any other officially sanctioned HWRS 2020 events.

All communications and interactions should be appropriate for a professional audience. Comments or images that are defamatory, slanderous, libellous, discriminatory (on the basis of age, race, colour, creed, body size, gender or gender preference), obscene or constitute sexual harassment are prohibited. HWRS 2020 attendees are also prohibited from verbally abusing or physically accosting the staff, speakers, or other delegates.

HWRS 2020 participants violating these guidelines are expected to comply immediately and may be sanctioned or expelled from the Symposium without a refund or liability at the discretion of the Symposium Organisers.

If you are being harassed, witness someone else being harassed, or have any other concerns please contact the Symposium Organisers immediately. The Symposium Organisers can be reached at any time via the registration desk.

We value the participation of our attendees, speakers, and exhibitors and expect all HWRS 2020 participants to abide by these guidelines.

Occasionally the Symposium Organisers may document the HWRS 2020 sessions and/or exhibition hall in video or photograph format for archival and/or promotional purposes. Unless this permission is revoked in writing to the Symposium Organisers, by virtue of attending all HWRS 2020 participants agree to the use of their voice and/or image in such materials.

This Code of Conduct is designed to ensure that the HWRS 2020 Symposium can be enjoyed by all participants. We hope you have an inspiring and enjoyable time.
